visits and more.

A weekend of visits. Andy showed up, unexpectedly. Which lead to a visit of the no 1 pub, aka the Nags Head, together with Duncan on Friday night. It was supposed to be an easy night. But realized when I woke up this morning that we swallowed far to many beers for our own good. Really enjoyable though!

Next visit is Eileen. She is over from Paris for the weekend. We are going to catch up down the street at Thomas Cubitt in an hour together with some more friends of hers. It’s fun to have friends visiting. More of that, please!

On the working side of life… I’m heading up to Loughsborough University on Tuesday to meet up with a professor there that are investigating termite mounds as a method for building construction. Check him out at www.freeformconstruction.co.uk or www.sandkings.co.uk if you are interested. I‘m a bit nervous about it, cause I have no idea what I am going to say, and whether he will find what I’m doing interesting or not. He seems to be a nice guy though, so it will probably work out fine. Hopefully it will give me some new and interesting input to things…

On the shopping side of things. Summer sale is here! I celebrated with a visit to Berwick street today, trying to find some nice fabrics both for clothes, but also for a pillowcase. No luck, mostly because I couldn’t decide on what I wanted. A bit disappointed I headed over to Urban Outfitters, and got my self a really gorgeous blouse from Fornarina. Half price. Happiness.
